About The Hoof Health Conference

The Hoof Health Conference is a three-day continuing-education seminar for hoof trimmers, and also veterinarians, dairy producers and nutritionists— everyone on the dairy management team interested in hoof health. Veterinary researchers from around the world present their latest research on hoof diseases, the value and importance of regular hoof trimming, and information on dairy management that affects hoof health. Hoof trimmers discuss hoof care issues and how to improve their on-farm service, and selected trimmers provide trimming demonstrations. There is a trade show of companies who sell hoof trimming equipment and supplies to hoof trimmers.

The Hoof Trimmers Association, Inc. hosts the Hoof Health Conference every 18-month and attendees come from many countries. It is the only hoof health form of its kind in the world. The 2000 Hoof Health Conference qualified for continuing-education credits for bovine veterinarians. It is a great place to network, keep up with research, pick up useful tips, observe demonstrations, and see new equipment and visit with suppliers.
